Lustral Water is a contemplative installation that approaches water as both a material and a ritual element. Drawing on historical and cultural associations of lustral water—used in rites of purification and transition—the work reflects on cleansing, repetition, and the passage between states of being. Water functions not merely as a medium, but as a silent witness to transformation, memory, and time.

Through a restrained use of form and material, the installation creates a subtle tension between presence and absence, inviting the viewer into a moment of stillness and reflection. The work does not impose a fixed narrative; instead, it allows meaning to emerge through sensory experience and quiet observation. In doing so, Lustral Water explores how ritual gestures can be translated into a contemporary spatial language, where symbolism and materiality coexist.

The installation was created for Z33, engaging with the architectural context of the space and its dialogue between art, design, and society.
